Our Mind/Body Center offers daily yoga and pilates classes for all levels by experienced and inspiring teachers trained under a blend of multiple styles.
Our Mind/Body classes have a different meaning for everyone. For some it's a spiritual practice, a way to blend the mind, body and soul. For others, it's a form of exercise, to stretch, become more flexible, to increase balance and reduce stress. For others, it's a form of injury rehabilitation or pain prevention. For whatever your definition, we know that experiencing a class at Club La Maison, will certainly be an enriching part of your day!
Suggestions for First-time Visitors
How to prepare for your first class:
- Wear comfortable clothing - less is better. Nothing too baggy.
- No perfume or jewelry please.
- Arrive on an empty stomach. Wait 3 hours after a large meal, 1.5 hours after a light snack. Food in your stomach makes practice harder!
- Bring a towel. There is an emphasis on detoxifying through perspiration.
- Drink, drink, drink water all day! Do not wait until 30 minutes before class to get hydrated.
- Arrive at least 10 minutes early and make contact with the teacher.
- Mats are available for free to our new students but we also sell a variety of mats for your convenience at our Front Desk
